JASON BRENNAN

Jason Brennan is a psychotherapist, author, coach and director of well-being and leadership at Wrkit and Benefex. He is the founder of Thinkwell-Ireland and as a psychotherapist for nearly 30 years, he has helped many individuals and teams grow and develop in themselves, in the work they do and in the relationships they have. He has worked with organizations such as Google, Slack, Salesforce and many more. He began his training as a psychotherapist in Dublin by completing a 3-year BA in Psychoanalysis and a 2-year Certificate in Humanities. He is an honorary lifetime member of the UCD Psychological Society. He continued his studies in New Zealand, becoming a Certified Transactional Analyst – a theory based on effective communication between individuals and within groups or teams. He also holds a CBT practitioner certification. Through Thinkwell NZ and Thinkwell Ireland, Jason has worked in all sectors such as Government agencies, Health Care, Emergency services, Sports, Corporate and Charity and has been on many coaching panels. He is a skilled facilitator and since 2014 has been a mental skills coach for several high-profile sports teams. He has brought together these techniques and his extensive experience in the bestselling book, co-written with mental health advocate Brent Pope, called “WIN: Proven Strategies for Success in Sports, Life and Mental Health”. He is a certified member of IAHIP, EATA, and ITAA and is a director of The Irish Transactional Analysis Association TIATA.
