Susan Andrews
My name is Susan Kyne Andrews and I am a secondary school teacher for almost three decades. My path in education has led me to curriculum design with a focus on wellbeing and philosophy. As a wellbeing coordinator at Temple Carrig School in Greystones for a number of years I have introduced a variety of whole school initatives to promote positive mental health and wellbeing.
When the Elephant in the Room movement invited me to join their new schools program, I was thrilled. Together, we’re developing:
- Comprehensive support materials for wellbeing workshops
- Ready-to-use lesson plans that teachers can adapt to their own school communities
- Step-by-step guides for launching and sustaining wellbeing initiatives around your elephant
My role is to advise and collaborate with schools year-round, offering personalised guidance as they integrate the Elephant in the Room approach into their curriculum.
