Ellie Arrives at Hinkley Point C, UK

We’re thrilled to welcome a brand new Ellie to the herd—this time, at the Hinkley Point C site, where a striking sculpture was unveiled as part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2025.

The Hinkley team ran a site-wide design competition earlier this year to develop their Ellie’s look and feel. The final design—vibrant, hopeful, and proudly bold—was created using elements from several employee submissions. It features affirming messages such as “There is always hope”, “We’re all ears”, and “It’s OK not to be OK”. Each message serves as a reminder that mental health matters and that support is always within reach.

With colourful visuals and thought-provoking phrases, this Ellie will be a lasting presence at Hinkley Point C—sparking vital conversations and creating a visible symbol of care and compassion in the workplace.

We’re honoured to be working with the Hinkley team and look forward to seeing what name they’ll choose for their new teammate.
